- My 35th Birthday present was an 8 week old puppy. My very first dog. We were told she was a Collie/Lab mix. I wanted a Collie and my husband wanted a Lab. She was perfect! When she reached about 12 weeks old her floppy little ears morphed into coyote ears! Her tail twirled and her voice became much more vocal. She can actually yodel. We have decided she is more likely a Husky ~ Collie cross. When Cider was 8 1/2 years old she had surgery to remove the cancerous lump (Soft Tissue Sarcoma) on her leg. That was in March 2009. So far so good I am happy to say! I am looking forward to many more happy years with my yodeling friend : ) If you have any questions please send me an email at siriusk9@bell.net
